The Office of the Dean of Graduate Studies and Research (DEGI) grants annual academic assistantships to graduate programs on campus with the objective of helping students with great academic potential complete their studies as fast as possible and with the most adequate means.
In order to be eligible for an assistantship, the student must study full-time and comply with the Program's requirements. Assistants are required to work 18 hours per week. Apart from receiving a stipend, students are exempt from paying tuition fees (special fees apply).
