Curriculum vitae

Graduate from the Graduate Program in Translation and from the Business School in UPR Mayagüez. With more than 30 years of experience in Information Systems, he has dedicated the last eighteen years to translating. His dissertation, titled "Localización e internacionalización de software: puntos de encuentro entre el localizador y el programador" was graded sobresaliente cum laude. It focuses on applying internalization principles throughout all stages of software and app development. Dr. García Nevares teaches technology applied to translation, localization, interpreting and scientific-technical translation.
