About the defense

When you are ready to defend your thesis, you must complete the Application for Thesis Defense. You can fill this form online in the Documents, Forms, and Certifications page on our website. Ask your thesis advisor for the access password for this form. Currently the start time of the defenses can be programmed at the following times: 9:00 a.m., 9:30 a.m., 1:30 p.m., and 2:00 p.m.

After your defense, the committee will advise you on any changes to be included in the final version of your thesis. Remember that you must submit a final version of your thesis no later than one calendar month after the date of the defense. Specifications on how to format your thesis can be found under the Manuals section in the Documents, Forms, and Certifications page on our website.

When you finish revising your thesis, send us the final electronic copy via e-mail in PDF format to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..
