It's a Jungle out There: A Guided Safari Tour to Job Hunting for Translators
Friday, 26 April 201910:00 AM
Graduate Program in Translation
Imagine this: You've finally graduated and are ready to get to work! But how do you start? How do you get your foot in the door? Where do you look? What should your resume look like? What shouldn't it look like? What is it like to work for an agency? What is it like working for a direct client?
All these questions and more will be discussed on April 26th, at "It's a Jungle out There: A Guided Tour to Job Hunting for Translators," a judgment-free zone where you can get tips from seasoned professionals on finding work as a recent graduate.
Between 10:00 am and 3:30 pm, there will be one-on-one resume feedback sessions and talks spread throughout the day covering an array of topics relevant to newcomers to the profession. So save the date and stay tuned for more detailed information about the event. See you soon!
