On December 11, 2015, Melissa González Trelles, defended her thesis titled The Womb, the Moon, and Remembrance, a translation from Spanish into English of El vientre, la luna y la memoria by Melissa Trelles.
The Thesis Committee, formed by Alejandro Álvarez, Ph. D., H. Jane Ramírez, M.A., and thesis advisor David Auerbach, Ph. D., awarded her thesis the grade sobresaliente.
